How it works
Title Case capitalizes the first letter of each word; Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence. Programmers use camelCase (variables in JavaScript), snake_case (Python, databases) and kebab-case (URLs and CSS classes). Text is processed in your browser and never sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions
How do I change text to uppercase?
Paste it into the box above and copy the UPPERCASE result.
What is title case?
Capitalizing the first letter of each word, as in book titles.
What is the difference between camelCase and snake_case?
camelCase joins words with capitals (myVariable); snake_case uses underscores (my_variable).
Is my text stored?
No — conversion happens entirely in your browser.
Which titles should not be capitalized in title case?
Style guides such as AP and Chicago keep short articles, conjunctions and prepositions (a, and, of, in) lowercase unless they start the title. This tool capitalizes every word, so adjust those small words by hand if your style guide requires it.
