Notes
Sleep experts commonly recommend a cool bedroom, around 60–67 °F (16–19 °C), because body temperature naturally falls at night. For babies, a room of about 68–72 °F (20–22 °C) with light layers and no loose blankets is advised; overheating is a risk factor for SIDS. Older adults feel cold more easily and are vulnerable to hypothermia indoors below about 65 °F.
