How to use this size chart

Find the size you know in one column and read across to the other countries. Clothing systems differ: US women’s sizes are even numbers (0–24); the UK adds 4; Germany and most of Europe add 30; France and Spain add 32; Italy adds 36. Men’s jackets use the chest measurement in inches in the US and UK, and that number plus 10 in Europe. Shirt sizes are the neck measurement — inches in the US and UK, centimetres in Europe.

Measure yourself for the best fit

• Bust / chest: around the fullest part, tape level under the arms.
• Waist: around your natural waist, the narrowest part above the belly button.
• Hips: around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
• Neck: around the base of the neck; add about ½ inch for a comfortable shirt.
• Feet: stand on paper, mark heel and longest toe, and measure — then use the foot-length column.

Sizes are a guide: brands cut differently, and “vanity sizing” means the same number can fit very differently between labels. Where a brand publishes its own measurements, those are the ones to trust.

Women’s clothing: UK = US + 4, EU (DE) = US + 30, France = US + 32, Italy = US + 36. Men’s jackets: EU = US/UK chest + 10. Shirt necks: EU cm ≈ inches × 2.54. Shoe sizes follow common brand charts and vary by brand.
