How it works
Times are converted using the IANA time zone database built into your browser, which knows the daylight saving rules for each region and date. US zones switch to daylight time (EDT, CDT, MDT, PDT) from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November; Arizona (except the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii do not change. Pakistan and India do not observe daylight saving time.
